Well they are back if the whether allows them to be back. As of now we are scheduled to go. Rain will determine the course that we use (some trails may be out depending on how wet they are – do not want to erode the trails more than they already are), if it is too wet then we’ll have to postpone yet again – uggh!
In the meantime you might as well download the registration and waiver and start hoping that we don’t get as much rain as forecast.
A little visual for those following Lindsay’s progress. Lindsay is in red. He arrived in Winterlake (I am guessing that is Finger Lake) at 1:35 AM, the spreadsheet shows him as not having left at the time of this post. The yellow shows the race leaders who left Puntilla at 23:29 on the 25th, this includes Jeff Oately, Tim Breston, John Lackey, and Kevin Breitenbach . It should also be noted that the lead female bike, Eszter Horanyi has also left Puntilla at 4:50 today. Cool thing about this race if you are moving forward you are a stud or goddess (what is the female equivalent of stud?), doesn’t matter where you are or far back of the leaders your are.
